Play is a key part of our process. We are Studio Spielen after all. So here’s a selection of football-themed, self-directed studio projects.
Crest to Icon (below) was a personal project undertaken during the 2020 Lockdown. A daily challenge to create a simple identifying icon for all twenty football clubs in the English Premier League (2019/20 season).
Shared on Instagram, each ten-slide carousel included mock ups of the icon design in use and a review of the team’s official crest history, and wider branding.
